But first, Skincare!
I hope everyone is doing well and your families too. Today, I want to discuss skincare. Do you take care of your skin? Do you have a skincare routine? It is essential to do so, and also, important to be consistent in your routine.
You skin is your biggest organ and it needs to be pampered, especially on your face. I would like to share with you my current skin products and what I have been doing for years now. But first, let me share with you my secret to a gorgeous and healthy skin...
Yes you read it well. I drink up to 1.5 gallons of water every day. It can be water, tea, or any water based healthy beverage i find (i.e. smoothies, natural juices). Skin need hydration and water is the best source. If you are not used to drinking water every day, I have a good tip for you. Start each day with two glasses of water. And replace your preferred drinks with a glass of water. That would be a good start.
Skin cells renew itselves daily. You have to make sure your skin is clean, and give it the propers nutriments it needs, to help the process. New cells are created naturally but like every other system, your skin needs maintenance. Here are the details to my skin routine.
Either if I am wearing makeup or not, the first thing i do when i get home is cleaning my face. To do this i use makeup removers. I like to use cleansing water or micellar water to clean my face. I sometimes switch to a cleansing milk or baby wipes to go faster with the process.
Then i wash my face with a cleanser. It can be a bar, a gel or a creamy one. I am currently using a cream cleanser which leaves my skin super soft.
Man, I love scrubing! It's the best thing ever especially when you're using the best scrub ever a.k.a the apricot scrub from Saint Yves. I do it daily or three times a week depending on my mood and how my skin feels. It perfect in the morning to give you a fresh glow.
I like to use oils, especially at night to nourish my sensitive and sometime dry skin. My crush is argan oil! This product rocks my world! And i always have a glow the next morning. I also use shea butter, cocoa butter, and other oils like avocado oil which are perfect hydrators.
To finish I moisture my skin with a creamy yummy product that i absolutely love! Pampering at best. You have to hydrate your skin and make sure the product you're using has water in its ingredients.
I hope these information help. I did a short video to tell you more about the products. You might want to check it out.
Don't forget to leave a comment and tell me about your own routine.
